ABSTRACT

Language is an important way for people to communicate and exchange ideas with each other. According to the accuracy of meaning, we divided into two parts, including precise language and vague language. And both of them play a significant role in human beings communication. Under the background of globalization, international business negotiation is becoming more and more important in world trading activities, thus it is necessary to study the phenomenon---vague language. In this thesis, the author will study the vague language under the guidance of Adaptation Theory.

摘  要

语言是人类表达思想和交流的重要的手段，从其传递意思的精确度，我们可以把它分成精确的语言和模糊的语言，两者在人类的交流活动中都扮演着极其重要的角色。在经济全球化的背景下，商务谈判在国际贸易交流中也显得更为重要，因此对谈判中的模糊语现象进行学习是必要的。这篇文章将以顺应论为理论基础，学习国际商务谈判中的模糊语现象。

Chapter One    Introduction

1.1 Background of the Study                    
As we all know, China entered the WTO in 2001 and then developed fast. In 2010, the GDP of China surpassed Japanese and became the world’s second largest economic entity. Nowadays, the world is a global village, which means more and more frequent communications are demanded in business, culture and other fields. In order to integrate into the globalization quickly and survive in the drastic competitions, more attention should be paid to international business negotiation. As the international business negotiation is becoming more and more important, all strategies applied in business negotiation should be bear in mind.
