摘 要
随着全球化的深入,面对面的交流已无法满足快速发展的社会,各种方便人们交流的工具不断出现,其中包括英文商务邀请信。当前,国内外对于英文商务邀请信的研究多见于对商务书信的整体研究中,或是基于不同的文化背景进行对比研究。本文将基于七“C”原理及文献研究法对四篇不同类型的英文商务邀请信的语言特征进行分析,即邀请人写的正式与非正式的邀请信及被邀请人接受与拒绝正式邀请的回复信。通过研究,可以提高商务信函信件的写作能力,提升商务沟通效率。

Abstract
With the deepening of globalization, face-to-face communication has failed to keep pace with the rapid development of society. A variety of tools appear constantly to make our communication more convenient including English business invitation letters. Present research on English business invitation letters at home and abroad can be found more easier in the holistic approach to business letters or in the comparative study which is proceed based on different culture backgrounds. This paper will proceed based on the 7C’s principals and literature research method to analyze the linguistic features of four different kinds of English business invitation letters, namely inviters making a formal and an informal invitation letters, invitees accepting and declining a formal invitations. Through the research, we can improve our ability on business correspondence and letters writing and thus promote efficiency of business communication.
