摘  要

本文要探讨的是报刊上金融英语的文体特征。本文应用Halliday 的系统功能语法，对六个语篇词汇语法层和字系层的主要结构进行量化分析。通过对这六个语篇的研究,发现金融英语还具有与以往研究所没有的特征，如及物性结构，情态结构，主谓结构，字系结构方面的特征。这些结构的特征都是与金融报道的语境，即语场，语旨，语式相符。在及物性方面，发现以物质过程为主，以话语过程为辅，并有少量的心理过程，存在过程和行为过程极少。在语气结构方面，第一时态动词为过去时其次为现在时。在主谓结构方面，无标记主位多，也有一些标记主位。通过对报刊上的金融英语的研究，希望能够给报刊英语次语体的研究提供参考。

Abstract
 
This article focus on the topic of the stylistic features of financial English in the newspaper. By applying the theory of systemic functional grammar put forward by Halliday, this article use quantitative analysis for the main structures of lexis-grammar level and word-level in six passages. From study of the six passages, the research shows that the financial English in the newspaper has some different features from the previous features that has been presented by others. These new features reflect in such aspects as transitive structure, modal structure, thematic structure, graphological structure. These structures correspond with the context which includes the field of discourse, the tenor of discourse, the mode of discourse. From the research, we can see that the majority of process is the material process. The second largest ones are the verbal process and relational process. A small amount of process is mental process. There are little existential process and behavioral process. The verb in past tense is the main verb. The verb in present tense is in the second place. There are many non-marked themes and a fewer marked themes. Through the study of the style of the financial English in newspaper, this article hopes that this essay can provide the reference for the further research of sub-varieties.
