摘 要
外贸英语函电是日后与客户建立往来业务关系的一种书面交际语言,其意义是为了促成一笔交易,建立贸易关系。它是国际贸易中沟通信息最基本的途径之一。尽管随着科学技术的发展,诸多通讯手段正广泛应用于国际经济交往和贸易活动中,但是,随着世界经济一体化的发展,中国对外贸易活动越来越频繁,外贸英语函电仍然具有特殊的重要性。这就要求我们掌握外貌函电的特点。要书写好外贸函电,必须了解它所具有的文本特征。本论文从外贸函电的词汇特征、句法特征、语言特征及其写作的7C原则(正确、具体、清楚、礼貌、完整、体谅及简洁)着手,系统阐述了外贸函电的特征。目的是提高学生外贸函电的写作水平,并充分运用到各项贸易实务环节中。

Abstract
Business English correspondence is the written language of communication with customers, which is to establish a business relationship between customers. And its meaning is to facilitate a transaction and the establishment of trade relations. It is one of the most basic ways to communicate information in the international trade. Although with the development of science and technology, many means of communication are widely used in international economic relations and trade activities, business English Correspondence is still playing an important part in foreign trade. Broadly speaking, the function of a business letter, you can say: First, request or convey information. In addition, make or accept an offer. Finally, process and negotiate issues. Good communication is needed to guide him to conduct business activities in the basic principles of communication. Business letters, and one of primary means of corporate communication, its quality is an important factor in the success of an enterprise, requiring a high degree of importance to strengthen good business writing skills in English letters. To write a good business correspondence, you must understand its features. In this paper, business English correspondence is from lexical features, syntactic features, language, writing features and 7C principles (clear, complete, concise, concrete, courteous, considerate and correct) started, systematically describes the characteristics of business English correspondence. The purpose is to improve the level of students’ writing skills and fully apply into the various trade practices.
