摘要

    本文主要通过文件收集从三方面来简单分析中英语言中动物词汇下的隐含的意义。通过这些例子，人们可以知道平时在用含有动物词汇的句子时就会有所谨慎，尽量不让自己出错。中英两国在宗教上，价值观上，思维方式上和美学方式上都有很多不同。由于这些不同的原因，动物词汇在中英语言中就有很多的不同。而且这些不同确实是可以反映出人们的思维和人们平日里的经验。这些不同会从生活习惯，生活方式，历史记录，社会风俗中反映出来。我们都知道人类的语言是很伟大的，人们都是通过一定的媒介来表达自己内心深刻的感情，这样人们可以很好的理解。而在这些媒介物中动物词汇占了很大一块，所以对动物词汇的好的理解在交流中是非常重要的。很好的了解动物词汇在中英语言中的不同不止对学生而且对全人类都是非常重要和必须的。

Abstract

    This paper mainly simply analyzes the underlying ideas in animal words from three aspects in both English and Chinese through file collection. According to these examples, people can know how to use these sentences which contains animal words correctly and try their best to avoid making mistakes. There are many different things in religions, the attitudes of value, the methods of thinking and the orientations of aesthetics between Chinese and English. Because of these differences, the animal words have many different meanings in both Chinese and English. These different meanings can really reflect people’s feelings and the experience in daily life, society and history. These differences can be reflected from habits, lifestyle, history and social customs. We all know that the human’s language is great. People can express their deep feelings by using some medias to let others know their clearly. Among the medias, animal words play a very important role. So having a good understanding is very important in communication. It is necessary and important not only for students but also all the mankind.

1    Introduction
In this introductory chapter, the author first presents the background information regarding the present research, followed by the brief literature review of the comparative study of the ideas underlying in animal words in both Chinese and English home and abroad. Then, the purpose of the research, the organization of the paper and the thesis statement are presented for readers’ better understanding.
1.1 The background information
Nowadays, there are many experts who have paid much attention to this topic and achieve many good results. People have used these animal words much better than before. They can know when they should use this word and how to use these words correctly. In our daily life, people always use animal words to say something or to represent some situations. And at this time, these animal words are used their underlying meaning to represent something.
