摘要：

无论中西，婚恋都是深刻反映人性的大题材。本文试对简.奥斯汀的《傲慢与偏见》以及张爱玲的《倾城之恋》体现的婚恋模式进行比较分析，探究两位女性作家婚恋观的异同，从而帮助读者增进对作品的理解，并从中引发思考：究竟在21世纪的今天，当我们远离战乱，不再担忧温饱，女性各方面权益都得到保障，但是离婚率却逐年上升，家庭暴力仍然屡见不鲜的当下，女性婚姻幸福的出路何在？在指出影响女性婚恋幸福的内外因素的同时，本文也提供了一些参考意见，供读者借鉴，以提高广大女性同胞的福祉。

Abstract：

Both home and abroad, marriage has always been a subject that profoundly reflects humanity. Through analysis of the marriage modes in Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice and Eileen Chang's Love in a Fallen City, this thesis sets out to make a comparative study of the similarities and differences lying behind the two writers' marriage conceptions, thus enhancing readers' understanding about their works and in the meantime inspiring readers' thinking: gone are the days when women suffered from wars, impoverishment, and had no rights at their hand, but divorce rate soars in recent years and the dark side of society such as sex discrimination, domestic violence is continuingly troubling numerous females. Where on earth does women's marriage happiness lie in? Apart from pointing out the internal as well as external factors affecting women's marriage happiness, this thesis also provides advice on how to secure a happy relationship.

1.    Introduction
1.1 Writing purpose
This thesis attempts to make a moderately detailed analysis of different marriage modes in Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, and Love in a Fallen City by Eileen Chang. As the old saying goes, "The style is the man." This thesis tries to cast light upon the similarities and disparities the two great women writers have in conceptions of marriage. In addition, this thesis also probes into how we can better ensure feminine happiness of marriage, so as to provide advice for females on improving happiness index.
