Abstract

    Harry potter is written by the British writer, J.K.Rowling. The story happens in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. And the first six books describe Harry’s daily life and adventures at school. The last one contains Harry’s experiences out of school. He tries to find the Horcruxs and destroys Lord Voldemort. These books surprise the literary circles.
    While based on some research about Harry Potter, this paper analyses some distinctive characters who are both heroes and anti-heroes and shows the contradiction in their features. Therefore, we can learn the originality in characterization.

《哈利•波特》是英国女作家J.K.罗琳创作的系列小说，共7部。《哈利•波特》的前六部以霍格沃茨魔法学校为舞台，描写的是主人公哈利•波特在学校六年的学习和冒险生活。第七本描写的是哈利•波特在校外寻找魂器并消灭伏地魔的故事。该小说惊诧文坛，让数不清的读者为之倾倒。
本论文汲取前人在《哈利•波特》研究中的部分成果，着重对小说中三个人物具有的英雄与反英雄的两面性进行研究，从而阐述《哈利•波特》在此类人物塑造上的特色。

1.    Introduction
J. K. Rowling is an English fiction writer who writes Harry Potter which is sold over 375 million copies worldwide. Most people think that the success of Harry Potter depends on the American commercial operation. But I have the different idea. Harry Potter is not only a movie for children, but also a fairy for adults. J.K.Rowling’s profound knowledge and deep research let her show us a colorful and fantastic Wizarding World.
It is said that while Rowling was on a four-hour delayed-train trip between Manchester and London, she had the idea for a story of a young boy attending a school of wizardry. When she had reached her destination, she began writing immediately.
