摘要

在当今文化交流的大环境下，电影作为重要的文化载体，其地位日益显著。在我国，越来越多的西方电影被引入，在引入英语电影的过程中，电影名字的翻译显得尤为重要。在给英语电影片名翻译的过程中，人们采取的方法多种多样，但是哪一种更为合适人们众说纷纭。目前主要有从功能翻译理论和目的论视角进行分析的研究。

本文从目的论角度出发，对维克多·弗莱明导演的《乱世佳人》的电影题目进行分析研究。在目的论的指导下，电影题目翻译的主要目的是为目标语观众对电影有一个第一印象，对电影有一个认识，实现目标语观众与电影之间的有效交际。本文研究的问题是：1.从目的论视角研究电影题目翻译的可行性是什么？2.在目的论视角下通过《乱世佳人》的案例分析，电影片名翻译应该采取哪些翻译策略？

目的论关照下的电影片名翻译策略是本文研究的重点，希望以此试探性研究，加深作者对翻译理论知识的理解，以其对实践中电影片名翻译水平的提高有所帮助。
