经济全球化的大背景下，各国的文化交流日益密切。谚语，作为一种极具地域与民族色彩的文化载体，在文化传播与交流的过程中发挥着十分重要的作用。恰当的谚语翻译不仅能够加深读者对中西方文化的领会,而且有利于促进中西文化交流。本文从翻译模因论角度分析谚语英汉互译过程中行之有效的翻译方法和翻译技巧，旨在摸索和探讨对谚语翻译有益的翻译思路或学术指导。
