生态翻译学视角下电影《疯狂动物城》的字幕翻译_英语论文
A Brief Analysis on the Subtitle Translation of the Film Zootopia from the Perspective of Eco-translatology
摘要
美国好莱坞大片《疯狂动物城》于2016年3月4日在中国上映并受到大众追捧。但是大多数观众由于受到语言障碍的限制,只能依靠汉语字幕来观赏这部电影, 因此,贴切的电影字幕翻译对于观众更好地理解电影起到非常重要的作用。根据达尔文生物进化论中的“自然选择”,“适者生存”,清华大学教授胡庚申提出了一个新的翻译理论——生态翻译学。该理论将翻译生态环境视为一个包含源语、原文和译语的系统,而翻译就是译者适应翻译生态环境的选择活动。译者要在翻译过程中把握好语言维、文化维和交际维的三维转换。本文拟从生态翻译学视角,剖析电影《疯狂动物城》字幕翻译,从语言维、文化维及交际维三个方面探究该电影字幕翻译过程中的适应性选择与转换,以期对生态翻译学用于电影字幕翻译做一点探索。

Abstract
Zootopia is an American Hollywood blockbuster which was released in China in March 4th, 2016 and was very popular in China. However, limited to language barrier, most Chinese audience have to depend on the Chinese subtitles to enjoy the film. Therefore, proper subtitle translation is of vital importance for Chinese audience to better understand the film. According to Darwin’s “natural selection” and “survival for the fittest”, Hu Gengshen, a professor in Qinghua University put forward a new translation theory—eco-translatology. It refers to the translational eco-environment as a system of the source language, the source text and the target language and analyzes that translation is a process of the translator’s adaptation and selection to the translational eco-environment. According to the selection and adaptation from linguistic, cultural and communicative dimensions, the thesis tries to analyze the subtitle translation of the film Zootopia from the perspective of eco-translatology so as to explore the application of eco-translatology in film subtitle translation.
