摘要

随着全球化的发展，东西方文化交流愈加频繁，在21世纪的今天创造了丰富的文化盛宴。《魔戒》；《哈利波特》；《权力的游戏》等西方奇幻小说及改编的影视作品的推出及传入，使越来越多的中国观众感受到西方奇幻文学及影视作品的魅力，

对于观看该类影视作品的中国观众来说，中文字幕不仅可以帮助其理解作品内容，甚至能够帮助观众接受优秀文化的熏陶，因此好的字幕翻译是十分重要的。随着科技的发展，普通人也可以开始自己制作电影及影视作品的字幕。翻译组作为一个全新的概念，开始在我们日常生活中变得流行，普遍，但字幕翻译的质量却参差不齐。 因此，如何选择适当的翻译方法和翻译原则来指导西方电视作品中字幕的翻译仍是一个值得探讨的问题。

本文从生态翻译学视角对字幕进行分析研究；同时，对翻译字幕进行语言、交际与文化维度的三维研究。本文旨在探索字幕翻译的方法与原则，以期对未来有关欧美影视作品的翻译与研究贡献积极的力量。

Abstract

As the globalization approaches, the cultural communication between China and western countries happens and occurs more frequently. The introduction of western fantasy literature, films and television works such as The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and Game of Thrones have attracted millions of Chinese audience. 

While Chinese audience watching these television works, subtitles can not only help them to understand the story and plot, but also allow the audience to be influenced by the culture inside these works. Therefore, a good subtitle translation is with great significance. As the development of technology, common people now may have access to make their own subtitles. A new group called fansub group has become common. However, the quality of subtitle translation is various and uneven. Therefore, choosing appropriate translation method and principle to guide the translation in western television works is a question that’s worth exploring.

This thesis will make an analysis of the subtitle translation of Game of Thrones from the perspective of Eco-translatology and further explores the three-dimensional transformation including linguistic, cultural and communicative dimensions, of these translations in order to find out the proper translation method and principle of the subtitle translation, hoping to make contribution to the translation and research of the western television works and films in the future.
