摘要
诗经作为中国珍贵的诗歌典籍,其译本在世界范围广泛流传,对中文文化交流的影响深远。但由于诗经使用的是古汉语,所以对译者的认知能力的要求就更高。在研究译者认知的过程中,认知语言学与翻译的结合现象较为显著。认知语言学倡导翻译的合理性和和谐性,译者要坚持反映原文并合理发挥主观能动性。所以在翻译活动中,译者作为源文本和目标语言之间的桥梁发挥着无可取代的作用。本文运用认知语言学的核心原则,“现实—认知—语言”,运用文献研读法,比较研究法和定性分析法,从“现实—认知”关系和“认知—语言”关系分别入手,将源文本、译者和读者这三者的关系紧密联系在一起,分析译者在理解诗经和翻译诗经时所扮演的角色,目的是指导探究许渊冲和理雅各对《诗经》形容词的处理方式,从而得出翻译活动是以原文和译者为中心的,许渊冲的形容词翻译喜好是在保持汉语诗歌韵味的前提下意译,注重抒发感情;理雅各更偏好直译,较少使用修辞,注重保留诗歌字面意思。这些不同的喜好让译文对文化交流产生不同的影响。
