摘要

随着纪录片在文化传播与交流中的地位逐渐凸显，变译理论作为一种本土新论，正以传统译论无可比拟的优势走进字幕翻译实践。本研究旨在探究变译在纪录片字幕翻译中的运用情况，以深化人们对变译理论的认知并推进翻译实践。本研究通过文献研究方法，对BBC英文纪录片《美丽中国》字幕的央视汉译版本进行研究，总结出了一套关于跨文化纪录片字幕的变译方法论，完善现有的变译理论体系，以期改进纪录片翻译效果，为后人提供更多的变译参考。
