摘要

随着中国政府越来越重视文化输出，外宣类翻译越来越受到关注。与此同时，外宣纪录片也越来越成为讲好“中国故事”的独特而重要的载体，这些优秀记录片为弘扬优秀中华文化，提升中国国际影响力和国际地位发挥了关键作用。鉴于此，外宣纪录片的字幕翻译策略研究也就愈发显得格外重要。本文拟从关联理论的视角来探究《美丽中国》的字幕翻译策略。关联理论之关联程度、最佳关联及其两个条件能够为纪录片的字幕翻译提供强有力的指导。通过对相关翻译实例的研究，本文旨在归纳和推导出一些适合纪录片字幕翻译的有效策略，以期能在讲好“中国故事”的外宣纪录片字幕翻译过程中为相关研究者和翻译者提供一些有益的指引和参照。
