On Lexical Gap in Chinese-English Translation_英语论文

摘要

词汇空缺是指一种语言中的某些词语在另一种语言中没有与其概念相同的对应物，它们通常表达一个民族特有的事物。民族、语言、文化三大要素紧密联系，词汇空缺现象就是在不同语言及文化的相互碰撞和交流中被人们感知和发现的。空缺现象充分反映了不同民族的文化差异，表现某种民族文化的独特之处。

本文主要研究词汇空缺的成因和类型，并提出相应的翻译策略。通过研究，我们发现词汇空缺现象与政治经济制度、文化背景、宗教信仰、生活习惯、价值观念等都有着密不可分的关系。在这篇论文中，作者将词汇空缺分为三类：全空缺、半空缺和冲突空缺。基于词汇空缺的分类和成因，本文提出了几种相应的翻译策略。为了解决词汇空缺现象，本文主要阐明音译、直译、加注法、意译这几种翻译策略。

研究发现，在了解词汇空缺的分类及产生原因的基础上，灵活地采用不同的翻译策略，巧妙地处理这些词汇，可以保证译文的准确性。
