摘要 

经济一直以来是人们广为关注的话题，经济语篇中存在大量的隐喻现象。对于隐喻的研究在语言学习中是十分必要的,它可以帮助我们更好地理解抽象的经济文本。

本文以莱考夫的概念隐喻作为理论基础，以知名经济类杂志《经济学人》中2016至2017年财经专栏的文章作为语料库,选取其具有代表性的隐喻表达进行分析和归类。主要发现了上下隐喻、人的隐喻、液体隐喻、旅程隐喻、战争隐喻、机器隐喻和其他隐喻，并总结分析了经济语篇中隐喻的特点和功能。

本研究试图使读者对《经济学人》的财经报道中的概念隐喻有更清晰的认识。同时，研究经济语篇中的隐喻能够帮助商务英语专业的学生理解抽象概念，扩展专业词汇，培养文体意识。
