从目的论看口译中的文化因素的处理策略_英语论文

Coping Strategies for Cultural Factors in Interpretation from the Perspective of Skopos Theory

摘要

随着全球化的趋势，中外间的交流越来越频繁。口译作为交流的桥梁，在交际中起着重要的作用。本文将口译中的文化因素作为研究对象并从目的论角度探讨其处理策略。目的论为本文的理论基础，提出翻译方法和翻译策略由翻译目的来决定。目的论的三大原则—目的原则、连贯原则、忠实原则对口译中文化因素的处理有着指导作用。参照目的论三大原则，结合口译场合特点、以及参与者文化背景，本文针对口译中文化因素的处理策略:意译、直译、省译及增补进行探索，并结合实例对其可行性进行研究。

Abstract

With the trend of globalization, the communications between China and foreign countries are becoming more and more frequent. 

This thesis takes cultural factors as major subjects and discusses them from the perspective of coping strategies for skopos theory. This thesis’s theoretical foundation is the skopos theory, which claims that the strategies and methods for interpretation are decided by the purposes of interpretation. Skopos rule, fidelity rule and coherence rule -the three rules of skopos theory, have a guiding role in dealing with cultural factors in interpretation. Based on skopos theory, considering the features of interpreting and the cultural background of parties, free translation, literal translation, omission and amplification are putted forward, which are all exemplified.
