《爱丽丝梦游仙境》，十九世纪最具影响力的荒诞小说之一，是由英国作家刘易斯·卡罗尔所创作的。从翻译视角来看，文中运用了大量的文字游戏和修辞技巧，曾被认为是一部“秒不可译”的奇书，吸引了无数学者进行翻译研究。到目前为止，该小说已被译为至少125种语言，其中第一个汉译本最为经典，是由赵元任于1922年所译。而在2010年出版的冷杉的译本则被认为涵盖最广，堪称百科全书。

本文选取赵元任及冷杉的译本，依据纽马克的翻译理论进行对比分析，探讨了语义翻译和交际翻译分别适用的文本环境，以及译者为了重现原文表达效果对于不同翻译策略的选择。通过对比发现，赵元任的译本更偏向于可读性，译者根据目标读者的认知能力及文化背景，采用大量的双关及类推的方式来实现作者的幽默意图；冷杉的译本则更注重充分性，通过添加大量注释以达到原文内容的完整表达。
