The Realistic Metaphor in Black Fairy Tales: Once Upon A Time

摘要

最近的几十年来，黑童话题材的作品越来越受到人们的欢迎，同时也引起了许多关注和思考。《童话镇》是由美国广播公司于2011年出品的科幻冒险剧集，是一部典型的黑童话电视剧并且在国内外影视市场都具有很高的欢迎度。通过对《童话镇》中典型对话以及相应情节进行摘录和分析对比，本文着重分析其中的善恶观和英雄主义，总结黑童话和传统童话在这两种价值观上的不同展现，最终得出结论，肯定黑童话虽然残酷但却更接近现实的价值。

Abstract

Black fairy tales, which are becoming more and more popular in the recent decades, have raised much attention and argument among people. Once Upon A Time, first released by ABC Studios in 2011 and then having achieved great popularity in both domestic and abroad markets, is a typical black fairy tale series. This thesis focuses on the values reflected in the series, including good and evil, and heroism. Through analyses, values are found to be reflected in totally different ways in Once Upon A Time compared with those in traditional fairy tales, as they are more cruel but more realistic, thus confirming the value of black fairy tales.
