摘 要

关于化妆品说明书的翻译的研究，伴随国际贸易出现化妆品成为进出口常规商品时就出现了。化妆品说明书翻译研究涉及商业、广告、翻译、文化等多个层面。以往的化妆品说明书翻译的研究主要从目的论，功能对等等翻译理论出发，提出化妆品说明书翻译原则，对化妆品说明书翻译的规范起到了重要的作用。同时，在化妆品说明书英译的研究中，适应中国消费者语言和审美习惯的美学与翻译结合的翻译原则也被更多的翻译者接受， 同时化妆品说明书翻译的法律法规化的命题也受到人们越来越多的关注。本文基于前人的相关研究从美学、 法律法规、以及翻译动态对等的原则，研究学习美学翻译，法律法规对翻译的影响以及奈达的动态对等原则，通过列举分析大量中译英以及英译中的实例得出结论：化妆品说明书英译中在追求美学，用优雅的文字翻译从而吸引消费者的同时，必须符合相关法律法规对说明书规范的规定，做到意思和原文无差别；化妆品说明书中译英要根据奈达的动态对等的理论确保翻译内容与原文一致，形式上符合目标语习惯，以便消费者接受。

Abstract

Researches about the translation of cosmetic instructions began at the very moment of the appearance of international commerce and the moment that cosmetics became a commonly-used goods for import and export. Because of the characteristics of cosmetics, the researches about their instructions translation may include many fields, from culture and laws to translation theory and international commerce. Previous researches about them are mainly done from the angles of Skopos theory and Functional Equivalence theory and have issued some principles for cosmetic instruction translation, which have made much devotion to the regulation of the cosmetics translation. Nowadays, more and more people pay attention to the aesthetics and cosmetics instructions translation from English to Chinese, and customers are caring more about the regulations and laws related to the instructions translation. So this essay collects and analyzes many translation examples and studies translation theories from aesthetics to dynamic equivalence translation, The essay advocates the principles for the translation of cosmetics instructions. Translators should integrate aesthetics with cosmetics instructions translating when following related laws and regulations of instructions and not cheat customers by inappropriate and extravagant translations. And when handling C-E translation of cosmetics, they can apply Nida’s principle of dynamic equivalence to measure the C-E instructions translation to make sure the translation is the natural equivalence of the original one and is adjusted to the receptors’ language habits.

1.1 Previous Researches or Findings in This Respect 
There are many researches about cosmetic translation from various angles, all of which have significance in some way. Meng Jing issued the essay Analysis of Stylistic Features of the Vocabulary in Cosmetic Instruction. It says that “Cosmetic instruction belongs to English for Specific Purposes(ESP) areas. Compared with the general ESP, it has the own special stylistic features. By the research of many vocabulary words of cosmetic instruction, the paper summarizes the stylistic features of cosmetics instructions.”
