“语境适应论”强调“语境适应”， 因为翻译不仅是语言之间的转换，更是文化之间的交流。译语观众与原语观众观看之后的心理接受与反应和谐一致是影视翻译的最高标准，也是“语境适应论”原则的标准。本文以电影《金陵十三钗》为例， 采用文献综述法，例证法，对比研究法，列举法等方法进一步探讨电影名翻译的方法与原则，旨在更进一步探究电影名翻译中的技巧与途径，为以后的研究提供更有力的依据。此外,加强影视片名翻译方面的探索和研究实践工作，对推进不同语言国家间的语言文化交流，尤其是对大力推进中国影视作品成功抢滩国际影视市场，进而在更广更深的层面上宣传中国文化具有极其深远的意义。

Abstract:

Contextual adaptation theory lays stress on the "contextual adaptation". Translation is not only an exchange of language, but a communication of culture that TL audience has the same or similar psychological acceptance and response as the SL audience. Such kind of acceptance is also the highest standard of film title’s translation and contextual adaptation theory. With the film Jinling Shisan Chai(《金陵十三钗》)as an example, this paper further explores the methods and principles of film title’s translation. This paper aims to find the translation skills of film title by using the methods of Literature Review, Exemplification, Comparision and Listing to apply the contextual adaptation to film title's translation. Firstly, the current situation and the methods of film title's translation. Then the paper will discuss the main factors of film title's translation, that is the cultural backgrounds and the audience. On the other hand, Strengthen the exploration and research work practice of film title's translation will help improving exchange of different languages, especially for promoting Chinese films and television programs subordinate the international market successfully.

1. Introduction
Film title's translation is a kind of communication that happens under a certain cultural background, and it is also a special kind of creativity. Film title's translation effects on not only the artistic expression but aslo the commercial appealence of the film, it also decides the cultural communication through the film. The mission of film title's translation is to build a solid base for the film, popularize the movie culture, embody the cultural value, develop and promote the mutual understanding between different countries. Before doing the translation, the translator should not only have a in-depth knowledge of the name and meaning of the SL(Source Language), but also make his translation accommodate to the particular customs and manner of the TL(target language) and abide by the "commom" and "difference" between the two languages.
