摘要

《京华烟云》中的姚木兰和《乱世佳人》中的斯佳丽分别是中西文学史上富于典型意义和艺术生命力的经典女性形象，她们身上都负载着丰厚的文化内容，深刻体现了中西文化各自的特征。姚木兰是一个成长在战乱里的知书达理、遵从传统妇德、大方周到的女子，是“道家的女儿”，“儒家的媳妇”。而斯佳丽具备现实主义智慧之美，不愿服从传统礼俗，反叛冲动。她的身上深刻的体现了西方文化精神。本文从中西文化背景出发来比较姚木兰和斯佳丽两个典型女性形象，主要探讨她们的不同之处。但是她们也存在很多相似性，例如她们都出生于富裕之家，成长于战争乱世，都有着自己的精神家园。而由于中西方的文化差异，她们在个人品格、生活态度、价值观念等方面都存在着差异。全文通过比较分析更深入地透视两个人物的文化人格，从一个特殊的角度识别中西文化各自的特征。

ABSTRACT

Yao Mulan of Moment in Peking and Scarlett of Gone with the Wind are respectively typical classic female images in the Chinese and western histories of literature. They have rich culture content and deeply demonstrate the different characteristics of Chinese and western culture. Yao Mulan is a well-educated and reasonable woman who submits to the traditional female virtue. She is regarded as “a Taoist daughter” and “a Confucian daughter-in-law”. As a rebellious and impulsive woman, Scarlett rebels against the traditional female virtue and has realistic wisdom. The spirit of western culture is deeply reflected on her. The essay puts Mulan and Scarlett into the background of Chinese and western culture to mainly compare their differences. But they still have some similarities in many aspects. For example, both of them are born in wealthy families, grow up in war times, and depend on their own spiritual home. Because of the cultural differences between China and Western countries, the personal qualities and views of life of Mulan and Scarlett are different from each other. Through a contrast analysis, the paper aims to deeply comprehend the cultural personality of the two heroines and to recognize the respective features of Chinese and western culture from a particular perspective.
