摘要

  本文主要以商务合同的文体特征为出发点来探讨商务合同的英译问题及其所应遵循的翻译原则。本篇论文多采用一些具有代表性的例子来综合分析商务合同的文体特征和翻译原则。关于商务合同的文体特征，本文主要从词法和句法两个方面来进行分析。英语商务合同在词汇是多使用专业术语，并列词，古体词和缩略词，这些词出现在英语商务合同中的频率是极高的。在句法方面则多使用一些比较复杂的句式，比如，定语从句，状语从句和条件从句，并且还会经常使用带有情态动词的句子和被动句以及陈述句。在翻译的原则上，一般文体的翻译都追求信达雅，这也是翻译最基本的要求。在商务合同的翻译上，译文首先应该是忠实准确，其次完整规范，最后要求达意通畅。

Abstract

This paper focuses on the stylistic analysis and translation principles of business contracts. In order to analyze comprehensively and deeply, this context always adopt some specific examples. As for stylistic analysis of business contracts, this paper mainly focuses on two key facets：lexical features and syntactic features. In business contracts, technical terms, coordinating words, archaic words and shortening words are used frequently. On the terms of syntactic features, some complex sentences are adopted frequently by translators, such as attributive clause, adverbial clause and conditional clause. Besides, the sentences with modal verb, passive sentence and declarative sentence also often appear in English business contracts. When it comes to the principles of business contracts translation, “faithfulness, expressiveness and elegance” is the basic requirement for common contexts. However, except the basic requirement, translation of business contracts needs to be “faithfulness and accuracy, completeness and expressiveness and standardization and smoothness”.
